"A Christmas to Cure Cancer 2," the follow-up CD to 2002's
"A Christmas to Cure Cancer," will be available for purchase
at the OSU Medical Center Scarlet Ribbon Gift Shops and
online at www.achristmastocurecancer.org staring in October,
says band member Mark Puskarich who started the fund-raiser.
Other bands also will be featured on the CD.
The band has raised more than $51,000 through CD sales and
benefit concerts for the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center -
Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove
Research Institute.
Puskarich and his former highschool band, which used to be
called Aereon, started the fundraiser after band-mate Lorne
VanFossen was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2000.
Member of the Cure Cancer Band will perform two benefit concerts
this year: one on Dec. 3 at the Wyndham Dublin Hotel, Dublin,
Ohio; and one on Dec. 5 at Dover High School, Dover, Ohio.
