Vera Garofalo, B.S., M.T.

We are pleased to present Vera Garofalo from The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute as our guest speaker.

Vera will be speaking around 8:00pm and discuss advancements in cancer research and treatments. She will also impress upon everyone the importance of early screening and detection.

Vera is presently the Program Manager for the Department of Mammography Services. She represents and markets mammography and other James Cancer Hospital services to a broad base of constituencies throughout central Ohio. These include select physicians, businesses and business leaders, professional groups, and not-for-profit groups and agencies. Vera promotes a full range of products and services offered by the Department of Mammography Services.

Vera is an OSU graduate and a true scarlet and gray bleeding Buckeye Fan. Her experience spans many areas of the OSU hospital including Clinical Labs and she is the former Director of Mammography Services and Mobile Imaging.

We are truly excited to have her play this keynote speaking role at our benefit event.
